Software architecture is more than simply building systems; it is considering the overall impact
of each new software system to the business as a whole. An architect's primary responsibility is communication -
communication of business needs to requirements analysts, communication of system requirements to developers, communication
of system functionality to testers, communication of environment details to deployment managers. To accomplish this
task an architect needs to have a broad background of technical skill, written/oral presentation skills, and
excellent system modeling experience. In addition, an architect must also be able to show the ability to lead
development teams, design complex systems, and creatively solve difficult technical problems.
